What is this place?
Why, it's a veritable digital Narnia. You can have a nose at my CV, leaf through my portfolio, flick through my photo albums, and read what I think about... stuff.
So it's all about you?
Well, yes. It is rather me-centric.
Why should I care?
Because I aim to be insightful, witty and thought-provoking. And because I care about what you think. You can tell me what you think via the comments form at the bottom of each blog post.
And who are you?
I'm a 24 year old journalist. I have a degree in philosophy and a ginger beard.
Why the name 'Brainstorm in a Teacup'?
Errr... to be honest, I think I thought of the name first and came up with reasons for it later, as is so often the way with these things. But it does have certain symbolic value: ideas and events get tossed around the blogosphere, picking up momentum entirely unrelated to their importance, and everyone believes that theirs is the solution to the Issue Of The Day. In that way, the blogosphere is a giant collective brainstorm, but one with a missing sense of proportion - like a storm in a teacup.
Okay, that was pseudish nonsense. I just like the word 'brainstorm', especially since they tried to ban it in favour of 'thought-shower'.
