One of my long term projects is to learn how to take better photographs. Technology has removed many of the obstacles to taking great photos, but it has also robbed us of the excuses for not doing so.
Last March, when I visited China, I invested in a Canon DSLR - a 400D, if you're interested - and I'm gradually figuring out how to get the best from it. Until I do, here are some photographs from places I've been over the last few years.

Instead of clicking through photos one by one in a browser window, or straining to see what the thumbnails are supposed to be, you'll be presented with a full-screen 3D 'photo wall'. Double-clicking on an image will cause it to fill the screen and start a slideshow.
It's a free download, and it doesn't install any spyware or adware or anything of that nature. It works in Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari on Windows and Mac. I have no affiliation with Cooliris (the creators) whatsoever - it's just a much better way of looking at photos on the web.
